Founded in 2014 by Ian Tomalin-Hall, a PR and marketing manager with experience across sectors including technology, creative software, finance, and the public sector, Grammatik’s goal is to disrupt the stale agency model and offer clients real value through focused and thoughtful tactics tailored to the digital age.
To date, the company has worked with more than 50 clients around the globe and continues to expand and grow into new areas and industries, while also maintaining its core passion to bring creative and impactful thinking to the masses.

Ian has worked across content, digital and product marketing in a wide variety of industries, including technology, finance, travel and media. A former journalist with an entrepreneurial spirit, he headed up PR & Comms for global creative software creator, Foundry, though a major acquisition by Carlyle Group and three years of rapid worldwide growth.
Ian founded Grammatik in late 2014, with a vision to take smart, integrated marketing to the technology and creative industries. As CEO, Ian has grown and continues to develop a team of experts and smart, focused talent. He splits his time between client strategy and pushing the company towards new and exciting directions.
Glenn’s experience spans film, television, retail, online and entertainment brands including MPC, Sky, UKTV and Virgin Media.
In senior marketing roles he has planned, implemented and managed a variety of impactful campaigns across traditional and digital media. As a Director of Bid Shopping, he was part of the team that grew an entrepreneurial and innovative new TV/online retail business from scratch to an annual turnover of £200 million.
Most recently, during his five year tenure at the world’s leading visual effects studio MPC, Glenn developed an industry-leading marketing, social media and event strategy for the Global Recruitment function which saw the studio become the world’s largest volume recruiter of VFX talent. Glenn’s role at Grammatik is to lead the overall focus for the client portfolio, overseeing projects and campaigns whilst supporting senior management to help grow Grammatik’s reach and expand the business.
Mark is a qualified ACCA accountant with many years’ experience in the finance field. In his career he has worked with a wide variety of fast-growing SMEs and start-ups, helping them to establish streamlined finance departments and future-proofed processes.
He has worked through the life of many of these companies, helping them to secure funding rounds and major corporate finance deals. Mark specialises in developing detailed financial and KPI reporting and applied this unique expertise to his role at Grammatik, helping the company to grow smart and steady
As an original founder of Grammatik he has brought his diverse and technical financing knowledge and applied it to the marketing sector to help guide and grow the company alongside the CEO.
Sofia’s expertise includes a variety of creative areas including VR/AR and VFX. As Marketing Manager of Neutral Digital and Happy Finish she was responsible for all aspects of marketing to drive business growth.
Josh Paterson brings nearly a decade of experience in broadcast and media technology PR, marketing and events to Grammatik, with previous management roles at other tech agencies. With in-depth industry knowledge, and experience in developing and implementing integrated PR and marketing campaigns and events for some of the industry’s biggest names, Josh compliment’s Grammatik’s strong PR team, providing strong leadership to raise the profiles of his client roster.
Daisy is a PR professional, having worked across the TV, advertising, branding and technology sectors for over six years. Prior to joining Grammatik, Daisy launched an AR event tech app whilst consulting on PR and marketing for various agencies, companies and individuals.
Mischa Gatti has over a decade of marketing and strategy experience across a number of industries. Having worked closely with some of the largest global enterprise technology companies and their extensive partner networks, his previous roles have ranged from establishing experimental start-ups to devising and executing end-to-end campaigns for tech titans like Microsoft, Adobe and many others. Mischa leads communications activities across a number of Grammatik’s client accounts.
Conor is a graduate of the Manchester Metropolitan University, where he earned a Masters degree in Multimedia Journalism. Following university, he honed his marketing skills around the world, working as an intern at a New York agency for Broadway and delivering social media strategy in Ireland.
Conor has a deep interest in all things tech, a flair for creativity, and an infectiously positive attitude. The combination of these attributes results in compelling, innovative ideas and strong relationships across our spectrum of creative technology clients.
He works across a wide spectrum of Grammatik’s tech portfolio and is hands-on with a wide range of marketing activations and strategies.
Joby utilises his content and social media expertise to assist in the smooth delivery of activity across our client portfolio. His previous experience includes marketing roles in the charity and entertainment sectors and he also adds event management expertise to the team.
A graduate in Commercial Music from the University of Westminster, Joby has been involved in the marketing promotion and lighting design for numerous live events at the Southbank and Edinburgh festival. He’s also a mean jazz guitarist and, in his spare time, has been known to take to the stage at legendary Soho music venue Ronnie Scotts.
Marta is a marketing communication and brand management specialist with experience in the creative industry. Before joining Grammatik, Marta worked and consulted with GEM Creative, Dennis Severs’ House and IMT Gallery, developing integrated communications strategies combining multiple marketing channels.
When not working, Marta loves taking in London’s cultural scene and most weeks can be found enjoying theatre, cinema, or dining out.
Originally from the sunny shores and blue skies of Rio de Janeiro, Juliana has an extensive, 5-year background in marketing and journalism, securing roles at well known Brazilian TV channels, TV Globo, and GNT.
Juliana made the big jump across the pond to London in 2018 to study a Masters Degree in Marketing Communications at the University of Westminster. Her keen eye for marketing trends led her to join the Digital Media team at Camron PR before joining Grammatik Agency.
At Grammatik, she supports account directors, managers and executives across a number of key deliverables, including social media, content marketing and PR.
Design, art, and music are some of her passions, and in her free time you can find her either absorbed writing on her laptop or reading a book.
Andrew is an experienced freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in dozens of publications around the world, including Edge, IGN, Playboy, and Rolling Stone. He was also an editor for Mac|Life magazine, and contributed to the 2018 book, SNES/Super Famicom: A Visual Compendium.
In covering the video game, gadget, and esports industries across magazines, websites, and books, Andrew has developed a talent for interviewing creative people and translating those conversations into compelling stories. As Senior Creative Consultant, he leverages that ability to spotlight the work and products of Grammatik’s clients through customer stories and other written content, as well as ensuring overall editorial consistency across all outward-facing comms.
Andrew has been writing for Grammatik since nearly day one in 2014, before taking on an expanded consultancy role in July 2018. He is based in Chicago.
