The client
Satelligence is an agritech company, which uses satellite data and A.I. to provide insights into the performance of agricultural production and supply chain risks. These include deforestation, land degradation, forest fires and carbon stock loss for growers, traders, manufacturers and financial institutions.
The brief
With climate change a real and growing threat to the planet, businesses must make changes now in order to reduce the negative impact they’re having on the planet. Grammatik was tasked by Satelligence to raise the profile of its technology over a six month period. The campaign aimed to expand Satelligence’s presence into new sectors by ensuring businesses understand the monetary value of monitoring their supply chains. In order to do this, we needed to simplify the language used to explain how their technology worked and who it helped. The campaign was split into two factions, changing the internal communication of their product and ensuring each client sector understood who and what Satelligence do through combined PR and Marketing activities.
To raise awareness of the campaign, Grammatik helped produce content including published articles and case studies, landed speaking opportunities on podcasts, webinars and other events, and handled campaign communications for email marketing and social media. This content was distributed via various owned channels and earned creative media outlets.
The strategy
Grammatik delivered a six-month rolling PR and content plan for the agritech startup that focused each month on a particular topic and sector in which to raise Satelligence’s profile.
This included supporting Satelligence’s entrance into a new sector – fashion – in order to promote the importance of monitoring Cotton’s impact on deforestation and water consumption. Satelligence is the first company in the world to monitor cotton’s effect on deforestation, and this allowed us the opportunity to secure several opinion pieces and speaking opportunities with distinguished retail and fashion publications.
Alongside promoting Satelligence’s senior team as thought leaders, we produced a comprehensive press pack with assets, interviews and more for key press.
We also created a variety of content including various articles on the importance of monitoring and stopping deforestation for growers, traders, manufacturers and financial institutions, creating case studies to highlight the impact Satelligence’s technology has, and creating a monthly newsletter highlighting press activity, new starters, new products and other company updates.
Placing content in various financial, technology, retail, fashion, sustainability and supply chain outlets, promoting the content via owned channels such as Email and Social Media was also part of our remit. We also handled end-to-end PR and content campaign planning for the agritech startup. Delivery included copywriting, arranging interviews, sourcing creative assets, and liaising with press and partners.
