Putting ftrack in direct contact with their customers

The client

The brief

ftrack wanted to speak more directly to its customers in the Soho, London area – a creative hub in the UK and home to many of ftrack’s power users.

ftrack engaged Grammatik as a part of our retainer to devise, plan and deliver a Soho-based ftrack user group. The aim was to get ftrack’s many London users in one room for an evening of short talks following by drinks and networking.

Using our contacts and extensive knowledge of the London area, we got to work…

The strategy

Reaching out to our contacts

We engaged with multiple ftrack users in the Soho area. We leveraged our existing contact database, enabling us to get in touch with the right people and decision makers at some of London’s leading creative outlets.

Getting the message out

We commenced an email campaign designed to drive invitees to a sign-up form. We ensured all sign-ups knew exactly where they needed to be and when and communicated this information months in advance to ensure high attendance.

Selecting the right location

We know Soho. We selected a venue that was capable of holding a large number of guests, was well located for all the invitees in the area, and had enough space to balance the night's talks with post-event networking.

Physical materials

We created lanyards, signage and other marketing collateral for attendees. These were distributed on the door by Grammatik to aid in the networking process while ensuring all involved knew about all the most recent ftrack updates.

The Results

Max capacity at the event

Talks given by Cinesite and ftrack

ftrack’s database expanded with opt-in contacts
