The client
Unreal Engine is Epic Games’ real-time 3D creation tool, best known as the technology behind Fortnite. While initially created to develop games, Unreal Engine is now used across multiple industries including film, television, automotive, and architecture. Epic’s real-time technology is known for its photoreal visuals and is increasingly used to create immersive experiences across a wide range of sectors. In addition to producing the Broadcast & Live Events Field Guide, and producing content for Epic-owned Twinmotion, Grammatik was tasked with writing marketing content for Epic Games.
The brief
The aim of the brief was to highlight Unreal Engine’s use cases outside of the games industry, across a wide range of sectors from architecture and animation, to live events and education.
The strategy
Grammatik produced content on a rolling basis, responding quickly to briefs and working concurrently on multiple articles at a time. The majority of our work focused on producing ‘Spotlight’ case studies and news blogs for UnrealEngine.com. In a sub-project spanning several months, we also wrote all of the blog posts for the launch of the brand’s new Real Estate hub.
In addition to the blogs for UnrealEngine.com, we edited and proofed copy for additional articles, wrote thought leadership content, and created blogs for other Epic-owned brands including SketchFab. As part of our ongoing work, we also proofread a series of lesson plans for Epic’s latest Unreal Learning Kit and created the blog post to announce its launch.
The results
We were able to help Epic to showcase creative use cases for Unreal Engine outside of the games world, from architectural visualization to education.
10 pieces of marketing content for Epic Games written to the highest standards.
Multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, including Epic clients contacted and interviewed to add valuable industry insights to blog content.
